Our butter truly is the cream of our crop! We take our milk from our herd of Holsteins and Guernseys and separate the whole milk and churn the butter from our cream. Nothing is added to this butter except salt. The golden color is from the influence of Guernsey cows who have higher beta-carotene levels naturally occurring in their milk.
Our butter mimics the consistency and texture of European butters that have a higher fat content than butter you would get at the grocery store. Because of this, our butter doesn't burn in the pan as easily and it has a higher melting point. My favorite way to enjoy this butter is to make a compound butter mixed with herbs and our cheese and to put on top of one of our steaks.
